Activating Alarm Suppression

About this task

To activate alarm suppression:

Procedure

  1. Log in to Communication Manager Messaging web page.
  2. Under Logs, select Alarms.

    The system displays the Alarm Log page.

  3. Select Active from the Alarm type drop-down list.
  4. Click Save.
  5. Alarm suppression is activated.

Deactivating Alarm Suppression

About this task

To deactivate alarm suppression:

Procedure

  1. Log in to Communication Manager Messaging web page.
  2. Under Logs, select Alarms.

    The system displays the Alarm Log page.

  3. Select Resolved from the Alarm Type drop-down list.
  4. Click Save.
  5. Alarm suppression is deactivated.
